Gravadoras &#8220;planejam&#8221; projetos sobre cat\u00e1logos de artistas lan\u00e7ando o mesmo \u00e1lbum repetidas vezes em vers\u00f5es diferentes que, via de regra, n\u00e3o trazem os mesmos b\u00f4nus da vers\u00e3o anterior. Algu\u00e9m pode arriscar: eles fazem isso para que voc\u00ea compre o mesmo disco v\u00e1rias vezes, o que n\u00e3o seria de estranhar neste mercado, mas o cen\u00e1rio parece mais de incompet\u00eancia do que leviandade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Exemplos existem aos montes: a cole\u00e7\u00e3o de Elvis Costello foi remasterizada pela Rhino que, inicialmente, colocou no mercado edi\u00e7\u00f5es simples de cada disco recheadas de faixas b\u00f4nus, depois reeditou todos os \u00e1lbuns em vers\u00f5es duplas que, felizmente, inclu\u00edam os b\u00f4nus das edi\u00e7\u00f5es simples. O mesmo acontece com \u201cThis Year\u2019s Model\u201d (Elvis Costello), \u201cOcean Rain\u201d (Echo and The Bunnymen), \u201cMurmur\u201d e \u201cReckoning\u201d (R.E.M.), \u201cThe Sweetheart of The Rodeo\u201d (Byrds) e muitos outros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nem todas as gravadoras cometem estes erros, e uma que vem se destacando no quesito reedi\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 a Edsel, bra\u00e7o de reedi\u00e7\u00f5es do selo brit\u00e2nico Demon Music Group. A Edsel relan\u00e7ou (entre junho e julho) toda a discografia do Suede em extensivas reedi\u00e7\u00f5es compostas por dois CDs e um DVD que compilam todo o material gravado pela banda oficialmente (ou seja: \u00e1lbuns, b-sides, vers\u00f5es para projetos) mais faixas demo e grava\u00e7\u00f5es ao vivo. No caso do Suede, cada um dos cinco DVDs traz shows completos da \u00e9poca de cada \u00e1lbum mais clipes, apari\u00e7\u00f5es em programas de TV e outras raridades.
