Quem estava na cidade tamb\u00e9m era Jimi Hendrix com sua Experience, e logo que ele chegou, tratou de telefonar para Mitchell com uma proposta: &#8220;Acho que vou grav\u00e1-la hoje \u00e0 noite com meu excelente gravador de fita (bate na madeira)&#8230; hmmm&#8230; n\u00e3o consigo achar nenhuma madeira&#8230; tudo \u00e9 pl\u00e1stico\u201d, brincou anotando em seu di\u00e1rio pessoal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Logo ap\u00f3s Jimi Hendrix ter terminando seu segundo show esgotado da (mesma) noite no Capitol Theater, alguns quarteir\u00f5es do Le Hibou Coffee House, como havia prometido, ele correu com seu gravador de rolo para o Le Hibou e se ajoelhou em frente ao palco, sem ser percebido pela maioria, para gravar os dois shows de Mitchell daquela noite. Por\u00e9m, a grava\u00e7\u00e3o foi recentemente descoberta em uma cole\u00e7\u00e3o privada que foi doada para a Library and Archives Canada (LAC) e devolvida a Mitchell. Agora, mais de 50 anos depois, as \u201cpalavras divinas\u201d faladas por Hendrix ser\u00e3o lan\u00e7adas em 29 de outubro como parte do \u201cJoni Mitchell Archives Vol. 2: The Reprise Years (1968-1971)\u201d, que apresenta quase seis horas de grava\u00e7\u00f5es in\u00e9ditas, entre elas 22 faixas da fita gravada por Jimi Hendrix.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Joni Mitchell reflete sobre aquela noite em sua conversa com Cameron Crowe para o encarte de &#8220;Archives Volume 2&#8221;: \u201cEles me disseram, \u2018Jimi Hendrix est\u00e1 aqui, na porta da frente.\u2019 Fui l\u00e1 conhec\u00ea-lo. Ele gravou esta fita lindamente. \u00c9 claro que toquei parte do show para ele.
